Blue Me Away

“I feel so blue.”

How often do you feel blue?

Why do we always associate blue with sadness? Is it because of how it makes things look so calm and placid? Is it because of the quiet feeling you get when you stare into it? Is sadness the same as quiet? Is loneliness the same as being alone?

Personally I don’t think blue is a sad color. I think of it as a happy color. When my soul feels so calm and relaxed, this gives me a sense of joy. I only get to feel this way when everything is going right in my life or when I wear anything of color blue.

I had such a long week at school that I felt so drained of energy. It was a bad news of course, yet there was always a good one. That was a day trip to see Suan Pheung. It is one of the famous places to visit in Thailand these days because of its many themed resorts. They are complete with a horse ranch, sheep farm and European gardens. Interesting, right? It was really a fun-filled day of excursion of course. Unluckily, we were not able to visit the natural attractions of Suan Pheung. It is definitely a place to visit since it is a famous weekend destination here in Thailand.

So during this trip, I wore a dark blue dress, my favorite powder blue blazer and I wanted to be chic so I paired them with my favorite Fedora and purple cross body bag. Trips like this blue (blow) me away just each single time. _x_
